SBFP THIRD CYCLE

On the first week of December breads and fruits were distributed to the parents of the  SBFP recipients. Then, on the second and third week breads, fruits and choco milk were given.                         The government is really finding ways to improve the nutritional status of the SBFP recipients. Hopefully this continuous drive will lead to a better result for our learners. Of course this endeavor would not be of success without the effort of the concerned teachers with the continuous support and guidance of the school leader. Another month of successful implementation of the SBFP was made. Hats off to the Baay Elementary School Teaching Force and Personnel, through the leadership of the very motherly school principal, Dr. Josephine C. Tanigue

SBFP SECOND CYCLE (24 days)

Baay Elementary School continues its support to ameliorate the nutritional status of the severely wasted and wasted learners through the School- Based Feeding Program.

The distribution of breads and fruits were done once a week to minimize face to face contact between the parents of the 163 SBFP recipients and the teachers’ in-charge. Health protocols are strictly followed to prevent the spread of Covid 19.For this second month of implementation parents were already adjusted with the schedule on food distribution.

Another month of successful implementation of the SBFP was achieved with continuous cooperation of Baay Teaching Force and Personnel especially to the SBFP teachers’ in-charge led by the School Feeding Coordinator Mrs. Irene A. Pauco, the members Mrs. Mary lee U. Gacuray, Mrs. Jennifer A. Sembrano, Mrs. Bethany G. Cruz, and the parents of the SBFP recipients through the leadership and guidance of the very motherly school principal, Dr. Josephine C. Tanigue.

SBFP FIRST CYCLE ( 20 Days)

Despite the fact that we are facing with more problems brought about by the global pandemic of Covid 19, the government had never stopped from giving support to the severely wasted and wasted children in all public schools nationwide through the SBFP in order to improve their health status. Improving the health status of these children could protect them from contracting diseases like the dreadful Covid 19, as this can have a devastating effect on small bodies already weak from poor nutrition.

As a way of showing support to the government’s program, Baay Elementary School having 163 pupil-recipients, started the implementation of the SBFP in the new normal last October 5, 2020. Since there is no  face to face between teachers and pupil- recipients, the parents of the SBFP recipients were informed to come to school for the distribution of food, such as bread and fruits from the SBFP. Health protocols are followed during the distribution to prevent the spread of the disease. To minimize a face to face contact between teachers and parents of SBFP recipients, the distribution of bread and fruits for five days was done once a week.

The implementation of the SBFP during the first month was successful with the concerted effort and cooperation of the Baay Teaching Force and Personnel especially to the SBFP teachers’ in-charge led by the School Feeding Coordinator Mrs. Irene A. Pauco, the members Mrs. Marylee U. Gacuray, Mrs. Jennifer A. Sembrano, Mrs. Bethany G. Cruz and  parents of the SBFP recipients through the leadership and guidance of the very motherly school principal, Dr. Josephine C. Tanigue.

BAAY E/S FOUND GOOD SAMARITANS

Baay ES is indeed blessed to find good samaritans in the person of Mrs. Hernani Cruz and siblings. Good samaritans because the fact that they are not residents of Barangay Baay and not even alumni of Baay Elementary School but still donated Php 72,000.00 to assist in financing the needs of Baay teachers and learners in the new normal brought by the pandemic.

With this, BES was able to purchased photo copier machine, biscuits, powdered milks, safeguard soap and bottles of alcohol for 129 Grade Two learners. Shirts for all teaching and non-teaching personnel and four(4) boxes of coupon bonds for Grade 2 teachers for the printing of modules.

This financial assistance was made possible thru the initiative of Mrs. Bethany G. Cruz together with her co-teachers in 2nd grade with the support of the very able school head, Dr. Josephine C. Tanigue.

With this act of kindness and generosity, I guess the Cruz siblings deserved several hats off and snappy salute! BAAY E/S is very much thankful and may you continue to be a blessing to other people.
