BES Personnel Viewed the NDRM Kick-Off Celebration 2020

In observance of the National Disaster Resilience Month this July, the National Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (NDRRMC) calls on all stakeholders to support government programs geared towards attaining disaster resilience. Marked by the theme "Sama-samang Pagsulong Tungo sa Katatagan sa Gitna ng Bagong Normal", this year's NDRM observance focuses on strengthening disaster resilience in the country while adapting towards the "new normal" caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.

As part of the National Disaster Resilience Month (NDRM) 2020 Celebration, the Baay Elementary School headed by Dr. Josephine C. Tanigue, joined the Department of Education's program through the Disasteer Risk Reduction and Management Services (DRRMS) in its conduct on the Kick-off Celebration of NDRM 2020 through its Wellness Check Series, a weekly online program on Mental Health and Psychological Support Services (MHPSS). The celebration launches the DRRMS Mascot "Ready Kid". It also featured Dok Ted Esguerra as a COVID-19 Survivor providing discussion on Resilience and Hope. This week's topic is "Resilience in the midst of a Pandemic: A Message of Hope from a Covid-19 Survivor".
